When GM licensed the name, IROC-Z, from the International Race of Champions for their top of the line Gen 3 Camaro in the 1980’s, the car quickly became more popular than the race. Very quickly, the “IROC” wheels became more popular than the race AND the car as they became a cross over wheel loved by many on a multitude of vehicle lines.
For the Gen 6 Camaro, we set out to design a wheel that not only did justice to the design and heritage of the original but also brought it into the modern era of three-piece, forged, works of art.
After winning design awards, the IROC-Z Wheel name and Design were licensed by Factory Reproductions to bring the wheels to the masses, We are so happy with how well received they have been, we decided they deserved a canvas of their own!
This shirt mixes our original artwork, in designing the wheel, with a finished shot of it in it’s home on the Gen 6 Camaro IROC-Z.
