NOTE: To use these with 1993-1997 F-Bodies you will need to use 1998+ F-Body spindles and 1998+ F-body calipers. Our kits come with the 1998-2002 Rear Rotors as a default. If you’re ordering for a 1993-1997 car please make a note at check out so we can send the proper rear rotors. There is a .5″ difference in rotor size.
More horsepower means you need more brake power. However, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get more brake performance out of your 1993-2002 F-Body.
With this kit, you bolt on a set of brackets that move your stock calipers further out allowing you to use the larger C5 Rotors. We also include stainless steel brake lines to eliminate brake fade. Our lines are slightly longer than other manufacturer’s OEM lines to accommodate for the larger C5 rotor as well.
The physics is simple, it is like a lever. The further away from the center pivot point you apply pressure, results in more force (stopping power) from the the same original amount of pressure (no caliper upgrade needed). Night and day difference in stopping power for a fraction the price of other brake upgrades.
IN THIS KIT YOU WILL RECEIVE 2x C5 Conversion Brackets, 2x C5 Front Drilled and Slotted Rotors, 2x F-Body Rear Drilled and Slotted Rotors, 4x Ceramic Brake Pads and 5x Stainless Steel Brake Lines (5 as opposed to 4 in case your car is equipped with traction control).
OUR BRACKETS OUR SUPERIOR THAN OTHERS because they are 100% MADE IN THE USA . ALSO ours REQUIRE NO CUTTING OF YOUR STOCK SPINDLE which EVERY OTHER KIT on the market we’ve seen requires. Our brackets are 1/2″ steel so durability is NOT an issue.
With this kit you will receive a set of raw metal brackets (pictures are powder coated, contact us for pricing) and all the hardware needed to bolt them on.

1993-1997 cars will first need to have the LS1 spindle conversion performed. You need 17″ rims (OR LARGER) to run these and, as far as we know, the only 17s (and some 18s) that WON’T work are Torque Thrust IIs (and TTII style rims like Boyd’s, Bullit, etc…) as they curve in and require some fab on the caliper. It is your responsibility to research your rims for fitment.
Installing our brackets is easy… You just pull the wheel, pull the caliper, slide off the rotor, then take the four bolts out from behind the hub, put our bracket up, bolt back in with the bolts we provide and then bolt the caliper on with the bolts and spacers we provide (when the bracket is set right the caliper should drop down from where it was originally and the spacer that is notched is used on the bottom).
Note: Since the picture was taken we have stopped including washers in the kit as during testing we have found out they are unnecessary and cause a point of flex during temperature changes.
