1993-2002 F-Body (Camaro and Firebird) “6LE by McNord” Custom Gauge and Interior Overlays (FULL SET)- CHECKERED COLORS
Starting in 2007, we set out to create a modern style gauge overlay, manufactured in a similar method as what the OEM uses, with custom options. Other companies were selling vinyl (sticker) overlays (to go on top of your factory overlays) which limit the design to basically only being able to change the stock color, and that’s it. If you wanted to “add a logo” it was just a sticker, and definitely did not light up like OEM.
So, we developed a 5 step manufacturing process that allowed us to duplicate the OEM layers so that we could offer a fully custom gauge face that REPLACES your OEM gauge face and allows us to change the artwork (different colors and styles, modern fonts, add logos, etc)… AND have the added artwork LIGHT UP at night.
Almost two decades later, others have tried to duplicate our process and failed. There are custom options on the market, but they print on lexan. One piece, one print. It can smudge, isn’t durable, has a weird shine to it, , etc. Overlays we created in 2007 are still on cars, being enjoyed to this day.
6LE Designs became IROC Motorsports, McNord retired and we stopped offering these for a long time. After seeing that no one else has been able to fill the market need and duplicate what we did, we decided it was time to dust off the machines and get back to manufacturing.
We offer these in three “Base Model” designs, (SOLID Colors, GRADIENT Colors and CHECKERED Colors… as these three were always our most popular designs). They have a modern updated font as well as artwork (warning symbols, etc) and your choice of “No Bezel” or “With Bezel” (this is an artwork design we added to our overlays that became popular so we added it as a NO COST option on our base models this time around).
You can also add up to TWO logos to this design for a small additional cost (any images/logos you want, just e-mail us after purchase with the image and then we will send you a proof for approval before manufacturing and shipping).
THIS IS A FULL SET OF INTERIOR OVERLAYS. We include these overlays with your order- GAUGE CLUSTER, HEADLIGHT SWITCH PLATE, HVAC PLATE and BOTH SHIFT PLATES (A4 and M6).
NOTE: We will match your Gauge Cluster artwork to your other pieces (same color, style, etc) unless you ask otherwise (some customers choose to do color for the gauges but factory black, with our updated fonts and designs, for the other pieces).
When you check out, please leave notes for the other overlays’ color choice and what logos you would like to be added (if you chose to added logos) to the MPH and RPM gauges.
Our overlays come with a CLEAR tint behind them. This means, whatever color LEDs you choose to use in your OEM cluster is the color our overlays will light up.
OEM uses a tint so that the cheap “yellow” OEM bulbs don’t look as horrible. For example, Chevrolet/Camaros used a BLUE tint which made them illuminate GREEN and Pontiac/Firebirds used a RED tint which made them illuminate ORANGE. Our backing is clear, allowing you to easily customize this aspect of the design as well.

The majority of our pictures are 1997-2002 style F-Body, as it’s our most popular, and are for reference. We make these for 1982-2024 Camaros, 1982-2002 Firebirds, G8s, GTOs, Silverados, etc. If you don’t see your car just e-mail us, we most likely make custom gauge overlays for it as well.
