Classics never go out of style. Our 1996-1997 style and our 1998-2002 style Camaro “Super Sport” spoilers both incredible looking, functional, spoilers. Dennis Mecham combined the sleek no-pedestal look of the early generation SS spoiler with the streamlined later generation SS spoiler’s incorporated LED brake light. Giving you the classic look you’re going while still standing out from the crowd, in a good way, without any of the hassles of fitment other companies’ products have.
We are extremely proud to have partnered with Chad Orner and Dennis Mecham to get the rights to bring these parts back to market, officially licensed and in the absolute best quality we have to offer. After being fans for decades, we befriended the Mecham team and eventually that friendship blossomed into a revival of this historic name sale.
Every part was recreated and molded from an original Mecham part. Any line work was cleaned up to perfect symmetry, modern resins and infusing are used to make high quality parts much closer to OEM quality than could originally be offered, simply put it’s modernized manufacturing but Mecham through and through. In some instances things like hardware were changed (to make installation like factory, some original Mecham parts used larger hardware requiring drilling of the car) and basically anywhere else we could improve upon the durability of the design, while retaining it’s original shape and function, we did.
Weighing only 27lbs and utilizing rear and top heat extractors, this hood reduces weight, reduces heat, reduces lift and looks amazing racing or even parked.
Your body shop will not need to spend a lot of time fitting and dealing with the issues that come with lower quality products and fiberglass other companies sell. Ours come to you right out of our mold in a black gelcoat with no need for hours of fitment, it’s ready to prep, prime and paint.
