With it’s high belt line and narrow windows, the Generation 6 Camaro has a beautiful exterior design, that comes at the high cost of driver visibility and making an otherwise elegantly simplistic interior, dark and foreboding. An interior that is best enjoyed with natural light.
When optioned with a sunroof, the minimal light allowed in is not worth the trade off of losing the Generation 6 Camaro’s beautiful “mohawk” roof lines. While designing the new Generation 6 Camaro IROC-Z vehicles, we set out to remedy the “cave” like feel of the interior, while not compromising on design elements that made us fall in love with the car to begin with.
IROC Motorsports is bringing a level of sophistication, generally only found in much more expensive luxury brands, to the Generation 6 Camaro… a full, fixed, Panorama Glass Roof.
It is constructed of German glass, the industry standard for the purest, strongest glass in the world. With two panes of glass for strength and a middle layer of UV Protection, it pours natural light into an otherwise overwhelmingly dark interior, without increasing temperatures inside of the car, and adding only a few pounds to the vehicle.
Easily installed by a professional body shop, this luxurious piece was also designed with with “do it yourself” Camaro owners in mind. Installation services are available through IROC Motorsports in Los Angeles and Detroit, or we can also guide yourself, or any competent body shop you choose, through the process. Due to production costs, these are only released once a year in a limited run of ten production pieces.

NOTE: Reverse Mohawk design only available in polycarbonate. Glass versions are now upgraded to a safety glass that does not allow us to shape in that way without causing distortion. New pictures coming soon.
