We still remember seeing the 1996-1997 Trans-Am WS6 Ram-Air Airbox for the first time falling in love and being in love ever since. Decades ago, many companies offered reproductions, similar options and options to go with their ram-air style hoods. Times have changed unfortunately and these have become hard to come by if at all.
So, we brought them back, for those trying to replicate the original, in a way that it suits a larger market of needs… it’s fiberglass. It will not get warped by the heat and can easily be repaired if need be for any reason. The branding is easily removed, the bottom can be trimmed to allow a bottom filter like LS1 setups, it’s easily adapted to use with our Ram-Air hoods as well as a cool cold air intake option for motor swaps.
If you’re looking for OEM style, this is fiberglass and comes in a black gel coat ready to prep and paint. If you’re looking to do something custom, this piece is a great canvas to start with.
