We are extremely proud to have partnered with Chad Orner and Dennis Mecham to get the rights to bring these parts back to market, officially licensed and in the absolute best quality we have to offer. After being fans for decades, we befriended the Mecham team and eventually that friendship blossomed into a revival of this historic name sale.
Every part was recreated and molded from an original Mecham part. Any line work was cleaned up to perfect symmetry, modern resins and infusing are used to make high quality parts much closer to OEM quality than could originally be offered, simply put it’s modernized manufacturing but Mecham through and through. In some instances things like hardware were changed (to make installation like factory, some original Mecham parts used larger hardware requiring drilling of the car) and basically anywhere else we could improve upon the durability of the design, while retaining it’s original shape and function, we did.
Large items are known to get damaged in shipping from other companies so we also BUILD A WOOD FRAME for shipping to make sure it gets to you perfectly.
Weighing only 27lbs and utilizing rear and top heat extractors, this hood reduces weight, reduces heat, reduces lift and looks amazing racing or even parked.
