1993-2002 Trans-Am IROC Rear Bumper Diffuser

This is one of the designs we developed early as “6LE Designs” over a decade ago. Since then, it has passed through many manufacturers, has had a couple of imitations, but never re-visited and refined. Original parts were built off an OEM bumper but over the years manufacturers would make new molds off of parts they had cast. This led to the poor fitting diffusers other company’s now sell.

Now, that we have our own manufacturing in place, we’ve revisited this part. We made a new mold off of an OEM bumper to make sure that, as opposed to being too short and bowing away from the car, our part fits well out of the box.

It bolts on using your vehicle’s license plate and bolts. Double sided 3M tape can be added if you desire, but isn’t necessary if your bumper is good condition (with age they can sag and warp, however, you can address this with double sided VHB tape by 3M). It comes fiberglass in a black gel coat ready to prep, prime and paint (a lot of customers do tend to install it out of the box as the black gel coat is similar to the satin black look they wanted to do in paint).

This is definitely one of our top three favorite designs we’ve ever created, we’re are incredibly happy to offer it again in a quality we can control. We would love to see pictures and reviews!
