Applying simple aerodynamics, the IROC Aero Rear Diffuser smooths the airflow coming from the front of the car and exiting the rear..  This creates less turbulence and therefore less rolling resistance, taking the guess work out of creating your own ROC Road Warrior…

Inspired by the aerodynamically enhanced styling from the IROC Race Series, our IROC engineers designed a part to improve the looks as well as the performance.

• Bolt-on using mostly factory holes, some drilling required in unseen areas of the vehicle’s undercarriage

When CRAGAR reached out to us in early 2016 to develop an “IROC Road Course Package” for their SEMA Vehicle, a 2016 Camaro SS, we were more than happy to comply.  After some email and phone conversations, this is the rendering we were sent by CRAGAR…

 

We took their drawing, refined the shapes by applying simple aerodynamics and the result is the “IROC Road Course Package”.  This IROC-Aero Package aids in cooling and creates more downforce across the vehicle’s surface, taking the guess work out of creating your own IROC Road Warrior…

“The front piece splits the air, increasing the speed of the air moving underneath the car, creating more down force on top of the car, while directing more air to the vehicle’s coolers.  The side pieces reduce turbulence and drag by redirecting the air flow around the tires reducing rolling resistance as well.  The rear pieces finish the job by making sure the final air flow is directed off the rear of the car to aid in decreasing the “parachute” effect of the rear bumper.”
