If you have a 1982-1992 Camaro with a 1985-1992 IROC-Z or Z28 hood, then these IROC-Z OEM Style FUNCTIONAL Louvers will add heat extraction and style to your ride!  These are waterjet cut out of aluminum powder coated BLACK for style and durability.  They come with a cutting template making them easy to install on ANY vehicle you choose!

These louvers are made to let horsepower robbing heat escape your engine bay.  They come with everything needed, louvers/hardware, to install on to your OEM or aftermarket hood.

You can also use these on a “flat hood” RS model or any vehicle you want to add maximum cooling and heat extraction to.

Cutting of your hood is required but can be done by most with any basic mechanical or fabrication skills.

Features:

• This kit includes 2 heat extractors designed to replace the factory plastic units.
• Designed specifically for 85-90 IROC recessed hood vent area and low pressure zones.
• Does not fit indents on 82-84 Z28 Hoods. If interested in those years, please contact us, you simply cut the same hole as if you were cutting a flat RS hood.
• The louvers can be installed on any flat camaro hood, including the flat RS hoods to give your Camaro the IROC look with added heat extraction vents.  Dimensions are below so you can use these with any flat hood you choose.
• These are functional hood vents which require holes to be cut into your existing hood panel.
• Reduces under hood pressure delta to reduce front end lift and increase net vehicle downforce.
• Significantly reduces under hood temperatures by extracting heat and allowing fresh cold air to enter the engine bay.
• Maximize life of engine accessories by reducing overall operating temperature.
